This page combines our content guidelines and reporting process to ensure a safe and positive experience for everyone on FansyMe.

Our Commitment

We are committed to fostering a thriving community where users can create and share content responsibly. We actively moderate content and comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the German Netzwerkdurchsetzungsgesetz (NetzDG), the European Union's Digital Services Act (DSA), and relevant international content moderation regulations.

  • Content that infringes upon the rights or intellectual property of others, or where such infringement is suspected; this includes uploading and distributing personal data of another person without their consent.

  • Harassment, stalking, threats, insults, or other unjustified or unwanted behaviors towards users or third parties.
  • Actions aimed at exploiting minors, causing them harm, or posing a potential threat to the well-being of minors.
  • Child and youth pornography, as well as the depiction of children and adolescents in unnatural sexually suggestive poses, including comic-style drawings/manga depicting such content.
  • Content depicting non-consensual sexual acts, violence, brutality, atrocities, incest, extreme BDSM, or human trafficking, including comic-style drawings/manga depicting such content or promoting or endorsing such acts.
  • Membership in or promotion of associations or communities that are prohibited or monitored by security or youth protection authorities, as well as their activities and expressions.
  • Membership in or promotion of a sect or a controversial religious community, as well as their activities and expressions.
  • Content harmful to minors: This includes content depicting or promoting child sexual abuse, violence against children, or content that could endanger a child's well-being.
  • Hate speech and discrimination: Content that incites hatred or violence against individuals or groups based on race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability is strictly prohibited.

Protecting Young Users

Youth protection on the internet is a crucial issue for our company. We want children and young people to surf safely and not be endangered by our content. For this reason, we have implemented special youth protection measures on our website and continuously improve these measures.

Parental Control / Family Filter

We have labeled our website with the JusProg label. This allows users to block our site for children and young people on their devices. Schools, public institutions, and households with children should particularly use this function.

We use XML files like age.xml, age-de.xml, and miracle.xml to classify content by age. This allows parental control programs to identify and block inappropriate content for minors, further promoting a safe online environment. These classifications comply with European and German youth protection standards.

Age Verification

To ensure a safe environment for all users, especially young people, we require age verification for access to certain content and features. Some areas of our website can only be accessed with secure user verification. This age verification complies with the legal requirements for closed user groups. As a user, you should securely store the hardware and access credentials received for this system to prevent third-party, child, and youth access, and never share them.

We use Yoti, a solution recognized by German regulators for its contribution to responsible online experiences. Yoti's age verification methods have been specifically approved by the Kommission für Jugendmedienschutz (KJM) for content restriction purposes, complying with German regulations.

Additionally, Yoti's technology is recognized by the Freiwillige Selbstkontrolle Multimedia-Diensteanbieter (FSM) for its contribution to youth protection efforts in Germany.

Text Filtering for Sensitive Content

We utilise automated tools to filter potentially sensitive text within content. This ensures that such content is only visible to users who have been verified as being of the appropriate age. Sensitive words will be masked with asterisks ("*") for unverified users.

This revised text avoids mentioning pornography directly and focuses on protecting users from inappropriate content based on age.

Continuous Improvement and Future Technologies

We are relentless in our pursuit of a safe and secure platform for all users. We constantly evaluate and improve our detection and prevention methods. This includes exploring the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) to further enhance our ability to identify and address human trafficking and sexual exploitation.

By combining our existing measures with active research and development of new technologies, we aim to create a progressively safer environment for everyone on our platform.

Youth Protection Officer

Youth Protection Officers in Germany safeguard young people by enforcing age limits on media, advising adults on child safety, and supporting youth in need. You can reach our Youth Protection Officer for any questions regarding youth protection on this website:

Content Moderation

We moderate the content posted by users in accordance with youth protection requirements for child- and youth-appropriate content in the publicly accessible areas of our website. Users and authorities can submit content they deem unlawful for review via a reporting function. If objectionable or unlawful content is identified, the provider is authorised to take actions and may pursue further legal steps. Incidents may be reported to law enforcement and other authorities if deemed necessary to comply with legal obligations or in good faith.

Reporting Inappropriate Content and Your Rights

We take youth safety very seriously. If you see something suspicious or that might violate youth protection laws, please report it to us. You can report any content, message, or user profile you believe is harmful or inappropriate, even if you don't have an account.

Your Rights Under EU Regulations

The European Union's Digital Services Act (DSA) Regulation 2022/2065 gives you rights when it comes to reported content. Within six months of receiving our decision on a reported item, you can complain if you disagree. We will carefully review your complaint and if we made a mistake, we'll fix it and explain why.

You also have the option to take legal action if you believe your rights have been violated. Additionally, the DSA allows you to pursue out-of-court dispute resolution with a certified organization.

How To Make A Complaint

  1. On a profile, tap the "More" button (typically three dots).
  2. On posts, locate the three dots in the top right corner.
  3. In chat, find the three dots menu next to the message.
  4. Look for the "Report" button, indicated by a flag icon, and follow the on-screen instructions.
  5. Select the appropriate category and provide a brief description along with any relevant details.

We will promptly review your report and take appropriate action, which may include removing content, suspending accounts, or taking legal action.

Furthermore, you have the option to utilise the DSA report form for reporting any content or conduct issues related to FansyMe. Alternatively, you can file a complaint by emailing complaints@fansyme.com. Please include your full name, email address, a detailed description of your complaint, and the URL if applicable.

How We Handle Complaints and Reports

We will ensure that any reported complaint is resolved, and a response is provided to the requestor within 7 business days or sooner. Here's how we handle the process:

Acknowledgement and Review

  • We acknowledge receipt of complaints within 24 hours and start reviewing the reported content immediately.

Transparency and Communication

  • We keep you informed throughout the process. If we need more information, we'll contact you promptly.

Investigation and Decision

  • We thoroughly investigate the reported content and aim to decide within these timeframes:
    • NetzDG: Courts interpret "expeditious" handling as within 24 hours for clearly illegal content, and up to 72 hours for less obvious cases.
    • DSA: Platforms with significant EU presence must remove illegal content within 24 hours of notification. Smaller platforms have more flexible timeframes based on content severity and platform size.

Outcome Notification

  • We will notify you of our decision via email. If the content violates our guidelines or legal requirements, we will take action, which may include content removal, account suspension, or reporting to law enforcement.

Disagreement with Decision

  • If you disagree with our decision, you can appeal within 24 hours. We will re-evaluate the content and provide a final decision with an explanation.

Serious Offenses

  • Complaints about illegal content, including non-consensual material, are handled with the utmost seriousness. We may report such content to authorities and cooperate with law enforcement.

Respecting Intellectual Property Rights

We take copyright infringement seriously and are committed to protecting the rights of creators. The process for reporting copyright infringement depends on your location:

  • Users in the United States: Please submit claims in accordance with our DMCA Policy

  • Users in the European Union: You can report copyright infringement according to the Digital Services Act (DSA) by submitting a report through our designated channels (link to reporting form/page).
