How to Use Pay Per View (PPV) to Maximise Earnings on FansyMe

Jan 31, 2023 · by FansyMe

You’ve probably seen "PPV" everywhere, but are unsure of what it really means? Let us explain.

PPV stands for Pay Per View. In simple terms, it means that anyone, whether they’re a subscriber or not, must pay to unlock specific posts (be it a video or photo).

Unlike a monthly subscription fee, which grants access to your regular content, PPV serves as an additional revenue stream. It allows you to monetise specific posts individually.

How does PPV differ from subscriptions?
Subscribers can unlock all of your "Subscriber Only" posts for a fixed monthly fee. However, PPV posts are not included in this. For each PPV post, you set a custom price, which both subscribers and non-subscribers must pay to view.

Using PPV in Your Posts

On FansyMe, you have three options for posting:

  1. Free: Visible to anyone, even those who aren’t logged in.
  2. Subscriber Only: Accessible only to your paying subscribers.
  3. PPV (Pay Per View): Locked content that requires payment to unlock.

PPV gives you more control over your content by allowing you to set different prices for different posts.

Using PPV in Messages

If you prefer not to post PPV content directly to your timeline, you can easily send it through direct messages to your subscribers. Just write a greeting, add some text to explain the content, and set the price for unlocking the message.

What Are Previews?

A preview is essentially a teaser for your PPV content. It gives your subscribers and even non-subscribers a sneak peek, increasing the likelihood of them purchasing the full post.
Be sure to properly censor your preview to comply with platform guidelines—avoid nudity in previews.

More Control on FansyMe

On FansyMe, you have even more control over your content. You can set different PPV prices for subscribers and free followers, ensuring you're optimising your income for both groups. Additionally, you can easily convert your Subscriber Only content into PPV posts for non-subscribers, giving you an even greater opportunity to monetise your existing content.

By using PPV strategically, you can enhance your monetisation efforts and offer unique content to your audience, whether they’re subscribers or casual followers.
