Stay productive even from home!

Being a content creator is liberating in many ways. You can work from everywhere, even at home! Unlike traditional jobs, you are now the boss of yourself. But working for yourself can be tricky and staying productive can be hard. Here are some tips to help you stay productive and make amazing content from wherever you are!

Plan things out

To reach your goals, you are going to need to have a plan. Remember that there are steps to take to reach success. Your plan will help and guide you in the right direction. To avoid making mistakes and rushing through things, take it slow and be patient. Chances are, it will take time to reach your goal, patience and consistency is key!

Manage your distractions

It’s easy to get distracted especially when you don’t have anyone to report to. When you are working, make sure you turn off notifications or better yet, keep your phone in a different room. Work time is work time, not socialising time.

YOU are your biggest selling point

Be you! It might sound cheesy, but being yourself is the best way to go. Someone else might be making similar content to yours, but they are not you. YOU are what makes your content unique and different. Don’t waste time trying to be someone else or someone you’re not.

Reusing is okay

Old work is still good work! Just because something was created a few years back, doesn’t mean you can’t still post them! You can still re-edit, revise and make them into new content. It’s also good to reuse and recycle old work so your new audience can see what they’ve missed!

Scheduling is key

Keeping a schedule can help give you balance. You are your own boss now, so you can make your own hours. If you work better at night, then schedule working hours at night! Creating your own schedule will help you tailor and organise your time to focus on your work and be the best you can be!
